Step One- Arriving at destination

I had a 11 hour flight...
+ time difference
+ transfers
+ 4 hour bus ride to Perugia
+ 20 min walk ( which took me 45 because I didn't know which way I was going.. and I was carrying two suitcases and my laptop bag... ) soo like 100lbs.. that I was Pulling up stair cases... in the city of ups and downs... No one willing to help ...except these french tourist which I caught speaking french and jumped into their conversation asking them for some direction.. Glad to help their "Cousine du Quebec" they handed me one of their maps.. and showed me the way to my destination. A bit less confused I carried on .. Stopping every few hundred feet to catch my breath... Down a narrow stone street , Up some decaying brick stairs , A few sharp turns and a 7 way intersections later I had finally made it.
All sweaty.. I climbed up a Few more flights of stairs following this short elderly woman... to my Apartment ( which I thought I was going to be sharing with a family .. and a roommate.. (but that's an other entry..)) I made it safe and sound.

Goodbye America ... I'm off again.

Soo.. 3 days left before I'm leaving on a jet plane...
Things are a bit hectic, I'm in the middle of packing my life.. and my suit case :-)
Loads of fun..
But I'm exited. A new adventure awaits me, un-calculated circumstances, unforgettable moments, new lands to discover, a million facts to learn, a whole new culture to adapt to, hundreds of new faces to smile at. I'm a chameleon I was made for this. So here I come Italy, ( and all of Europe hopefully in my "free" time). Welcome me with open arms!
